The weather may have turned cold and windy, but the residents of Fitzroy Harbour still turned out in large numbers for their annual Winter Carnival February 2nd-5th. Councillor Kelly took in some of the fun Friday night before Dan and Carole's trivia night (pictured below with organizer Carole McKaskill) while dropping off some prizes from the City of Ottawa.
"Congratulations to all the volunteers who have worked so hard to make the Fitzroy Winter Carnival happen this year," said Councillor Kelly. "It was nice to see so many people out enjoying themselves despite the cold."
"Personally, I think the entire event was a success on the first night with the Country Boys of Fitzroy Harbour beating the City Boys in the Country vs City hockey game."
