An important note from Enbridge regarding possible gas service interruption in areas of Constance Bay affected by flooding.
Enbridge is:
- marshalling resources and are in a position to act swiftly/ as req’d - actively monitoring water levels in flood prone areas -monitoring road access, in the event that water covers roadway we will temporarily interrupt customers gas services - activated an emergency operations centre to monitor flood conditions & are working closely with city officials and emergency responders
If your gas service is interrupted:
-Do not attempt to relight your own appliances. Appliances submerged in water may not function safely and require an inspection by a licensed gas technician or contractor before deactivation - when all clear is given by officials Enbridge gas representatives will go door to door to enter homes/ businesses to restore your gas service and relight natural gas appliances
