URGENT REQUEST (2.0) FOR THE VILLAGE OF CARP: Once again this evening, we are asking residents and businesses in the Village of Carp, who are connected to the well, to please limit their consumption of water to only drinking, food preparation and personal hygiene activities while repairs are ongoing from 9 pm tonight (June 28) until 6 am tomorrow morning (June 29).
Background:
Yesterday, the City identified a leak on a pipe connected to the Carp well station and asked the community to limit their water usage. The good news is a portion of the repairs were completed last night, and further construction will take place tonight.
So once again, we are asking residents and businesses in the Village of Carp, who are connected to the well to please limit their consumption of water to only drinking, food preparation and personal hygiene activities while repairs are ongoing from 9 pm tonight until 6 am tomorrow morning.
